The Covert Original 21" ILF riser is the choice of many field archers. The Original 21" combines longer riser to limb length ratio, giving a crisper performance than would normally be expected from these bow lengths.  Longer bow lengths proportionate to draw lengths offers more relaxed string angles on the release fingers for a smoother and crisper and more repeatable release for improved accuracy at longer ranges. The Original 21" with four limb lengths, with CX series limbs or HEX6 for choice gives bow lengths from 60" to 66" covering draw lengths from up to 28" on the shortest bows through to 32". Stability and accuracy are the primary concerns with all Border bows and the major consideration of the ILF Original 21" TCS.

The Covert ILF riser has improved deflex and designed to accommodate current conventional ILF limbs and create an improved platform for the higher performance HEX limbs.

The Original 21" riser is properly deflexed and balanced in the hand to enhance accuracy and minimise bow torque, either hand induced, or from the release. Its suitable for field archery and hunting alike, holding accuracy and the comfort of bows that are longer.

The Triple  Carbon Spine (TCS) construction (three significant carbon reinforcements running through the riser) gives these wood carbon risers all the strength and rigidity offering a massive 5/16" over centre window, for huge arrow tune and adjustability and or the use of a plunger button where suitable. The Original 21" having enough window space for elevated rests or off the shelf shooting!

This riser can be setup with a stabilizer bush, sight/quiver or plunger button inserts or inserts out near the pockets for a bow mounted quiver. The riser can be fully customised to suit most personalised needs and gives the warmth of exotic woods with an immense stability. All the warmth and beauty combined with the adjustability and tunability only currently found on alloy risers.

The Covert ILF 21" riser gives 10% weight adjustment, and available in a range of timber choices.

The riser comes with white accent strips but red is available, and a range of grip heights High, Medium and Low, as well as all the customisation you would expect in grips from a custom bowyer.
